KIMCHI MAKING WORKSHOPS

Join Ger for an delicious afternoon or evening of kimchi making. Learn the basics of Korean kimchi fermentation as you prepare a batch of your own napa cabbage kimchi, while gaining a deeper understanding of the history, ingredients, and traditions behind Korea’s national dish. From the first steps of cutting cabbage all the way to the preparation of kimchi paste, you’ll be guided step-by-step to create a take-home jar of kimchi perfectly suited to your tastes and spice level.

$50.00 (includes all ingredients and jar of your own kimchi!)

We are partnering with Maine Tasting Center in Wiscasset and Merrymeeting Community and Adult Education for this early summer class in Wiscasset!

Each workshop is a little different, as we work with so many different partner organizations. The price of your class ticket will reflect that, as some workshops will have extras included (drinks, tours, dinner). Please wear comfortable clothes and come prepared to do some light cooking (cutting vegetables, mixing).
