Naturally fermented in Belfast, Maine, our kimchi and pickles bring fresh Maine ingredients and time-honored Asian fermentation traditions together in a delicious blend of sour, sweet, spice, and umami. Each of our ferments are hand made in small batches, seasoned with Maine sea salt, and slow-fermented to tasty perfection.

Ger Liang Tysk is the chef, owner, and creative force behind Red Kettle Foods and our delicious kimchi. She is a first-generation Asian-American dedicated to showcasing the humble ingredients that define East Asian cuisine – Chinese, Japanese, and Korean food – and to celebrate culture, community, and family.
