Just in time for the crisp fall weather, our kkakdugi daikon radish kimchi features local Maine frost-kissed daikon radish. We’ve added Maine-grown apples for a touch of sweetness, along with onion, garlic, and ginger. As always, hand-harvested sea salt from Slack Tide Sea Salt gives it the perfect finish.
This seasonal kimchi is only available in the fall and winter, when radishes are made even sweeter after the first frosts. Daikon kimchi goes really well with warming curries, filling soups, as a topping on rice bowls, or just straight out of the jar – we won’t tell anyone!
