DISHWASHING: Chopsticks and rests are not dishwasher safe. Handwash only with mild soap and warm fresh water. Chopstick rests may rust if not dried after washing. To maintain the beautiful patina on your rest, thoroughly dry and then rub with a thin coating of food-grade oil.

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Christopher Flansburg is a professional mariner and blacksmith in Appleton, Maine. He studied and trained as a blacksmith in Grafton, Vermont and currently specializes in kitchen and rigging knives, house jewelry (hooks, hinges, and brackets), and tools for mariners.
