Chrysanthemum Mini Plate

Chrysanthemums, or kiku, are Japan's national flower. Representing autumn, these lush, stately blossoms are portrayed in these mini side dish ceramic plates in muted gold. These style of plates are called mamezara, or "bean dish," and are used as accompanying dishes to the main course.

P.S. we know some people who use this and other mamezara-style plates as trinket or jewelry dishes, which we think is a great idea!

Mino ware is a style of Japanese pottery and ceramics originating in Gifu Prefecture, central Japan. Though these particular styles on our site are modern-day adaptations of traditional Mino ware styles, the care and craftsmanship that characterize Japanese ceramics is evident in all of these pieces.

Products are delivered via USPS Priority Mail and will be mailed out Tuesday or Wednesday of each week.

Kimchi should be refrigerated as soon as you receive it. In the hotter summer months, we might have to pause delivery (extreme heat is bad for kimchi!), but we’ll notify everyone our website and social media in advance.
