Gochu Korean BBQ Spice Blend

Our Korean-inspired BBQ spice mix features hand-harvested sea salt from Slack Tide Sea Salt mixed with the smoky heat you love from our kimchi. This spice blend is perfect as a pork, chicken, or seafood rub, or just a finishing sprinkle on soups, stir fries, or veggies.

Since the very beginning, every batch of our kimchi has featured sea salt from Slack Tide Sea Salt in York, Maine. Their sea salt is hand-harvested and solar dried to form big, beautiful salt flakes straight from the Gulf of Maine, and we’re thrilled to partner with this local, woman-owned business to create this lovely spice blend! 

The name “Gochu” comes from the Korean word for “chili pepper.”

Made in a facility that processes fish, soy, and wheat.

Products are delivered via USPS Priority Mail and will be mailed out Tuesday or Wednesday of each week.

Kimchi should be refrigerated as soon as you receive it. In the hotter summer months, we might have to pause delivery (extreme heat is bad for kimchi!), but we’ll notify everyone our website and social media in advance.
