Since the very beginning, every batch of our kimchi has featured sea salt from Slack Tide Sea Salt in York, Maine. Their sea salt is hand-harvested and solar dried to form big, beautiful salt flakes straight from the Gulf of Maine, and we’re thrilled to partner with this local, woman-owned business to create this lovely spice blend! Rub it on chicken or seafood, sprinkle it over roast veggies, or accent stir fries or fried rice for a vibrant flavor wake-up.
The name “Gochu” comes from the Korean word for “chile pepper.”
